Overview
Gateway Estate located on Palmers Road Truganina, just 20kms West of Melbourne CBD. A 180-lot residential subdivision constructed on a previously remediated site (also completed by Bitu-mill).
Working closely with all stakeholders to ensure appropriate protection and environmental measures were in place to ensure indigenous flora and fauna were left untouched, works included Sewer, Drainage, Water reticulation, Kerb and Pavement construction, Electrical and NBN reticulation, Concrete footpath and crossovers, Topsoiling and Asphalting.

Outcomes
Bitu-mill’s ability to plan and program works accordingly enabled the team to complete these works with minimal complaints or issues, keeping all stakeholders in mind including adjacent residents.
A protective capping layer of rock was successfully placed over the entire site to ensure the safety of future residents. This work was inspected by independent auditors with excellent results.

- Working in close proximity to existing residents with minimum disruptions
Time
- Bitu-mill’s collaborative approach has allowed the project to be constructed on time and within budget, despite challenging groundwater.

- Quality Assurance around Electrical assets resulted in exceptional results during Powercor audits
- Great feedback on site practices from the client engaged environmental consultant.
